Foods that are both warming and nourishing are in high demand throughout the winter months. For this urge, we need to eat warm foods. Every winter vegetable that requires a long period of time to mature and grows its edible parts below ground tends to be warming. Dates, almonds, and oilseeds (such as sesame seeds) can all be warming foods.
Meat, fish, and poultry are all considered warming because of their high fat content. Whole-grain cereals, which are high in protein and healthy fats, can help you stay warm.
